Lai Choon Hin

"Dr Lai Choon Hin has more than 20 years’ experience in hip, knee, shoulder and elbow replacements and reconstruction surgery for Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, SLE, Ankylosing Spondylitis and Avascular Necrosis.

He was awarded the PSC Merit Scholarship to study Medicine in University of Singapore and graduated among the top of his class. He was awarded the Howard Eddy Medal by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons for topping the FRACS examination. He was appointed an Adult Reconstruction Fellow and Instructor at the Mayo Clinic, USA, to train in joint replacement surgery.

He was Director, Adult Reconstruction Service, TTSH, President, Singapore Orthopaedic Association and ASEAN Arthroplasty Association. He has published in Current Orthopedics and Clinical Research, Journal of Trauma, The Knee and book chapters in “Comprehensive Hip and Knee” and “The HIP: Preservation, Replacement, and Revision”. He has presented at the American Academy of Orthopedic Association, Mayo Clinic Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Courses and Mayo Alumni Meetings, ISAKOS, APAS and APOS and conferences in Asia.

He does minimally invasive (MIS) surgery, computer navigation surgery, patient specific and robotic joint replacement surgery"
